Sign up and take a look for yr self!
- it's free and if you don't like what you see you can un subscribe
- but you wont want to!
- the best way to get to understand what it's all about is to go to a talent market day and or go to the website and spend a good half hr looking at everything
- its really simple
- you offer the things you have to offer or want to get rid of
- and you take a look at what others are offereing and get in touch with them via email or phone as you can see their profile and contact details
- FOOD sells
- has to be tasty though
TRANSPARENCY - real transparency!
- you can take a look at my account if you like and see what i've been selling and buying and how many talents i've got in my account - i don't care if you know!
- you cant steal them! they are vertual -
You fill in a form and take the money from my account when i've purchased from you!! hows that - no more " its in the post - i sent it yesterday - i'll post it tomorrow" etc etc as
- as you press enter having filled in the form yr account get the moeny instantly and i get an email telling me what you've done! If there's been a mistake we sort it out between us
- YOU can start to buy with out having had to make talents - interest freeeee!
- it's brillliant and such fun! LOVE the people
- we are ever so fortunate to have a super geek who put the whole thing onto the internet - it's a doddle
- I really want this to be up and running in the informal settlements
- no electricity and no computers so it's a whole different ball game there
it's slow but i'm told it's happening

Hi Odette

I am an "Australian" living in france. I do not know any Cahills living in the UK.
You located to be located in SA. LETS seems to be really big there . What are the demographics of the members like?

Does the system percolate into the communities of people without computers.

Here in this part of France it appears that many LETS members are not computer users so will be resistant to an on line system.

Introducing COGS

The Point of COGS

COGS stands for Circle of Gifts, and is a complementary currency specifically designed to help local communities re-localise activities. The aim of re-localisation is to provide inhabitants with the possibility of an acceptable quality of life when traditional economic development fails, or their circumstances are against them.

We believe complementary currencies will become more important as energy supplies dwindle and impact the economic growth so essential for inter… Continue

Mobilising The Real Wealth of Community - An Article by Alana Tobin

People around the world are increasingly concerned and even fearful about the present state of our economy and the real possibility of a recession turning into a depression. Having grown dependent upon an economic system which has increasingly failed us now our economy is in a rapid state of decline. As a growing number of people are losing their jobs and homes, many are finding themselves in rather precarious and even dire circumstances. Should the economy significantly worsen none of us likes… Continue

The Method by which the Federal Reserve creates money out of nothing;

The Method by which the Federal Reserve creates money out of nothing; the concept of usury as the payment of interest on pretended loans; the true cause of the hidden tax called inflation; the way in which the Fed creates boom-bust cycles.

Credit and Debit Limits

Credit and Debit Limits

What are credit and debit limits and why do we need them in a community of givers and receivers promoting the notion of abundance? Surely limits create a shortage of the currency, taking us back to debt-based conventional money where those of us who are short of the stuff have to borrow it from those who have a surplus?

Credit and debit limits are absolutely essential for the health of an exchange. In the CES we do not impose 'hard' limits where the system stops… Continue
